Anton & Alexandra

Her story...

I met Anton shortly after he’d started his own business. Anton Murray Consulting has been running for over ten years now, so we’ve known each other for a while. We’ve shared an incredible number of adventures together, some in Australia and many abroad. I feel very blessed to have someone as generous, caring, smart, fun and loyal as him in my life. He makes me laugh so much, we have intellectual conversations, he listens while I regale him with the entire plot of a book I’ve just read, and ultimately he’s my best friend. When we spent 18 months abroad together we had some of the most spectacular moments of my life. Not only did Anton pass his MBA with Distinction, he also managed much of his business while we gallivanted around the world, and gave me some really wonderful experiences that I will never forget. Of course, most recently Anton and I became parents to our beautiful daughter Margeaux which has been an incredibly humbling and special next chapter of our lives together. I feel honoured to be marrying Anton this year surrounded by nature in the Byron Hinterland.

 

His story...​

I was introduced to the beautiful Alexandra Gatfield many years ago while I was living in Rushcutters Bay through my flatmates at the time. She was a feisty, spirited young girl when I met her and even laughed in my face when I first said I thought I loved her! Immediately I was captivated by her incredible beauty although my love for her deepened as I discovered the exceptional heart and soul that lay behind this lovely exterior. Over time my love for Alex grew steadily and several years ago we began to create, scheme and plan our lives together in Bondi Beach. Alex’s unwavering selflessness and dedication to our relationship was demonstrated, yet again, when she put aside her publishing career to join me on a global adventure across Edinburgh, Paris and South-East Asia for close to two years. Clearly, this short paragraph doesn’t allow me enough characters to fully explain how much or how fully I love Alexandra, so I won’t even try! You will need to come to our wedding in September next year to hear my rambling, insufficient attempt after a few glasses of champagne…
